    THE BIGGER PICTURE

However, the 21-year-old has his eyes on a different prize as he explained that representing his country alongside his younger brother Jobe, currently impressing in the Championship with Sunderland, is the biggest goal of his career.

  • WHAT BELLINGHAM SAID

"Because we're a similar age and we've played together for so long in the street and on the tufts of grass, to play with my brother for England that would be the biggest dream of my life," he said on the Out of the Floodlights podcast. "That would mean more than any of the trophies. Especially if we managed to do it on a consistent basis and play at a major tournament together and win things together. Honestly, nothing would even get close to that. Nothing."

    WHAT NEXT FOR BELLINGHAM?

While Bellingham is one of the main figures in the current England team, 18-year-old Jobe will have to wait for his first call-up to the senior team before the attacking midfielder's dream becomes a reality. In the meantime, Bellingham could be back in the Madrid starting XI against Espanyol in La Liga this weekend, having been out with an injury since August.
